Fundraising in Memory of Andrew Pratt

Andrew died in March 2006 after battling a brain tumour for two years.  He was a popular mechanic from Horsforth, Leeds and his death devastated his wife Cathy, daughters Lianne, Carla and Jess together with the rest of their family.

Cathy pulled everyone together and decided to put on an evening of Music in Andrew's memory. The event was so successful that she has since organised another two events.

Local voice coach and singer Dave Hill helped Cathy to organise the events and provided a number of very talented singers to entertain the crowds.  Cathy and her friend Bernie persuaded local businesses to part with wonderful raffle and auction prizes and together they put on a series of events to remember.

We were treated on the last two occasions to hear the voice of a young man who is destined to be a super star very soon.  Lee won the BBC Let Me Entertain You competition; follow the link for more information!

Cathy is a keep fit fan and always supports the walking events organised by Andrea's Gift and recently completed 10 miles for the Walk Around the World for Brain Tumours event.
