“When I discovered that brain tumours were almost regarded as forgotten cancers I felt
that I had to help in any way I could. The more awareness we can generate about
this awful disease, the better. When the brain tumour research centre is opened
in Leeds it will mean that the team in Yorkshire will soon
become world leaders in the development of novel and effective treatments for the most aggressive types of this disease. That has to be a good thing.”
