Why I support Andrea's Gift

I have been involved with Andrea's Gift for a few years now and it saddens me to know that there is so little support and research for brain tumour patients. 

It is only when you get involved with patients and their families that you realise the degree of disability this disease leaves a person with.  It is not like other cancers where in many cases after treatment a patient can resume a near normal life. 

Sufferers are often left with a long term disability such as epilepsy, restricted mobility or memory problems that have a huge impact on their lives.
